NYS Clean Heat rebate paperwork handled
A ductless heat pump is the most efficient way to handle heating and cooling in one system. Instead of a furnace plus a separate AC, one mini-split setup keeps every room comfortable year-round — and because it runs on electricity, it qualifies for NYS Clean Heat rebates. Most installs take a day or two, and the crew that quotes your job installs it.

Proof, not promises
Commercial installThe New York State Canal Corporation brought us in to install cold-climate heat pumps in eleven of its lock buildings — every lock on the Champlain Canal, from C-1 in Waterford to C-12 in Whitehall. (There is no Lock C-10. It was never built.)
Lock buildings sit right on the water and take the full force of an Upstate winter. There is no backup furnace out there — the heat pumps are the heat. That’s the kind of job you only get by doing this work properly.

Your house gets the same equipment and the same process: a Manual J load calculation from your home’s actual data — not a square-footage guess — then a system sized for the coldest day of the year, installed clean and to code.
Curious what a project like this actually costs? Our cost guide walks through real project numbers, including a whole-house conversion that came to about $32,000 before a $12,000 NYS Clean Heat rebate. The exact number for your house comes from a free in-home estimate.
We’re an Upstate NY company. The same crew that quotes your job installs it — on time, tidy, and respectful of your home.

It depends on the size of your home, how many zones you need, and the equipment you choose. Single-zone systems typically run $5,000–$9,000 installed; whole-house projects run well into five figures before NYS Clean Heat rebates. Our cost guide has real project numbers — and your exact price comes from a free in-home estimate with a flat, all-in quote.
Yes. A ductless heat pump heats and cools your whole home from one system, so it replaces both a furnace and a separate air conditioner. For most Upstate NY homes it’s the most efficient HVAC setup available.
It will. Cold-climate heat pumps are built to heat efficiently well below 0°F, so a single system handles the coldest Capital Region nights and summer cooling alike.
No. Indoor units mount on the wall or ceiling and connect to the outdoor unit through a small line set, so there’s no ductwork required. It’s a great fit for older homes and additions.
Most installs are finished in one to two days, depending on how many zones you’re adding. We work around your schedule and clean up when we’re done.
We install Mitsubishi Electric, Cooper & Hunter, and Senville heat-pump systems and help you pick the right one for your home. We also service most major brands.
No — and that’s on purpose. Astello installs ductless heat pumps and mini-splits; that’s all we do. No gas furnaces, no duct runs. If your project truly needs ductwork, we’ll tell you we’re not the right fit — but for most homes here, ductless is the better answer: no ducts to build, every room on its own control, and NYS Clean Heat rebates on qualifying systems.
