An Astello commercial project
Commercial installAstello installed cold-climate heat pumps in eleven lock buildings along the Champlain Canal, from C-1 in Waterford to C-12 in Whitehall. The route has no Lock C-10.
These buildings sit beside the canal, and the heat pumps provide their heating without a backup furnace. This is one example of our work with cold-climate equipment.
The locks we heat
Your home has its own heating and cooling needs. We use a Manual J load calculation to guide the equipment size, then plan the indoor units and installation around the building.
Our cost guide includes a whole-house project that cost about $32,000 and qualified for a $12,000 NYS Clean Heat rebate. A free in-home estimate gives you a quote for your own project.

No. Indoor units mount on the wall or ceiling and connect to the outdoor unit through a small line set, so there’s no ductwork required. It’s a great fit for older homes and additions.
The schedule depends on the number of zones, electrical work, and line routes. We’ll discuss the installation time after looking at the house.
We install Mitsubishi Electric, Cooper & Hunter, and Senville heat-pump systems and help you pick the right one for your home. We also service most major brands.
