Astello installs cold-climate heat pumps, including Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat, across the Albany–Schenectady–Troy area. These systems are designed for heating in low outdoor temperatures and also provide summer cooling. We assess your home’s heating needs before recommending the equipment. NYS Clean Heat rebates are available through Astello for eligible projects.

Cold-climate equipment is designed to operate at lower outdoor temperatures, but the model and its heating capacity still matter. We compare the equipment’s ratings with your home’s heating load and discuss whether it should replace or work alongside the existing heat.

We install cold-climate models from Mitsubishi, Senville, and Cooper & Hunter. We’ll explain the options for your home and the differences that matter to the project.

Hyper-Heat is Mitsubishi Electric’s cold-climate heat pump technology. Ratings vary by model and equipment combination; we’ll review the specifications for the system proposed for your home.
That depends on the heating load and the equipment selected. A cold-climate heat pump can be planned as primary heat, or it can work alongside an existing system. We’ll discuss those choices after assessing your home.
