A retired couple on Trinity Ave in Rotterdam — a classic Cape/bungalow from the late 1930s–mid 1940s, blown-in insulation added over the years, natural-gas radiators for heat and window ACs doing the cooling. They'd budgeted for 3 indoor units.
Then we ran their rebate numbers: $10,000 — the amount they qualified for, boosted because their area counts as a Disadvantaged Community under NYS Clean Heat. That covered the jump to a 5-zone Senville system — one head in every room — mostly for cooling, with supplemental heat behind the radiators.
