Astello installs, repairs, and maintains ductless mini-splits and heat pumps in the Albany–Schenectady–Troy area and nearby towns. Our owner has more than 15 years in the trade, and our work includes older homes without ductwork, room additions, and whole-home installations.
We look at how the house is built and the spaces you want to heat and cool before recommending equipment. You’ll have a written quote and a chance to discuss the layout, installation work, and schedule.

Why ductless only
Our work focuses on ductless mini-splits and heat pumps: installation, repair, and maintenance. We don't install gas furnaces or air ducts. That helps make the scope clear when you contact us about a project.
Ductless can be worth considering when a home has no air ducts, an addition needs its own system, or you want separate temperature settings for different rooms. We'll assess the house before recommending a layout. See what installation really costs →
From the field
This 1950 two-story home had oil heat and no air conditioning. We installed eight zones on two condensers, and the old oil equipment and tank were removed.
For this 1920 Colonial, we planned cooling for three upstairs bedrooms. A three-zone Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat system gave each bedroom its own indoor unit.
An 1890 house with radiators and no ductwork received five zones over three days in freezing December weather. The project qualified for a $10,000 NYS Clean Heat rebate.
